This project is in the City of North Plains and will upgrade approximately a half mile of sanitary sewers to 18-inch line. The project area is between NW West Union Road and NW 308th, and McKay Creek on the east and NW Glencoe on the west. Currently, the sewer meanders through private properties, an old orchard and some riparian areas.

The City of North Plains (City) has granted approval for the District’s request for a Flood Plan Development Permit to upsize the existing sewer line, FP 07-0011. District is in the process of finalizing the required Development Agreement with the City. The District is in the process of permit approval of the required 1200C Permit from DEQ. The required Washington County right-of-way and City street cut permits will be submitted in March, 2008. Temporary construction easements are pending; District and property owners are in the negotiation process.
Construction drawings are at 90% completion and the project will go out for bid in March/April 2008.
