King Richard Drainage Upgrade
Project #4946
This project in King City continues improvements to the public drainage system that were identified in the District’s Surface Water Management Master Plan and King City Drainage Master Plan. Approximately 700 feet of deteriorating corrugated metal pipe storm sewer south of Fischer Road will be replaced with concrete conduit. An additional 775 feet of 30-inch pipe will be rehabilitated with Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) lining through the El Dorado Mobile Home Park, where an earlier portion of the project was completed in 2003. The District is working closely with the property owners to minimize impacts to the El Dorado residents. The project also includes enhancement of approximately 2.5 acres adjacent to the Tualatin River, where invasive non-native blackberries will be removed and the area will be replanted with native trees and shrubs.
Estimated cost: $345,000.
