Cipole/Lower Tualatin Trunkline Upgrade
Project #6030
In anticipation of industrial growth in the City of Tualatin,Construction is underway to upgrade 8,000 feet of 24-inch sanitary sewer trunkline to 36-inch along Hedges Creek between Herman Road near SW 198th Avenue and Lower Boones Ferry Road. This project is in conjunction with the Cipole/Lower Tualatin Pump Station project, which will replace siphons under the Tualatin River. The City of Tualatin, industrial property owners and The Wetlands Conservancy helped select the project alignment. Part of the project will be constructed on property owned by The Wetlands Conservancy, which will be enhanced by removal of invasive non-native plants and extensive revegetation with appropriate native plants. The project cost is $4,992,600. On June 26, 2007 the Board of Directors awarded the contract to C&M Construction, which started work in Tualatin Community Park the week of July 9, 2007.
