Bonnie Lane Sanitary Sewer
Project #6233
This project has been indefinitely put on hold due to subsequent modeling indications that there is adequate capacity in the existing system to handle conditions for the next 20 years.
The Bonnie Lane Sewer Trunk Line Upgrade will provide additional sewer capacity for growth in Forest Grove. The project is being constructed in three segments (see map). The middle segment (segment 2) was constructed first in 2005 in a joint effort with the City of Forest Grove as part of the extension of Bonnie Lane. The first segment (segment 1) reroutes the trunk line from its current location on Willamina Street to a route along “B” Street and eventually joins the middle segment on Bonnie Lane. The last segment (segment 3), traversing along Main Street and Beal Road, will connect the middle segment from Bonnie Lane to the Council Creek sanitary sewer trunk line. This will complete the sanitary sewer upgrade. The last segment will go through wetland areas known as Beal Pond which will require regulatory permits prior to construction
Estimated cost: $650,000
Update July 27, 2007
This project was ready to bid for construction services but was put on hold because the latest modeling of the system shows there is enough capacity in the existing system for the next approximately 20 years.
