Project No. 6347
The purpose of this study is to provide a natural resource inventory and hydrologic and hydraulic models of the drainage corridors within the West Bull Mountain planning area downstream reaches. This information provides an inventory and models of existing conditions for West Bull Mountain that will inform Washington County’s planning process. This project will provide a set of natural resource inventory GIS layers, including rapid stream assessment data, wetlands inventory, upland habitat inventory, and stream corridor assessments. The models include a hydrologic model in GEO-HMS format for the contributing watersheds and Geo-RAS models for perennial streams within the planning area and downstream reaches.
West Bull Mountain planning area includes Metro’s urban growth expansion areas 63 & 64 that is currently undergoing urban planning review by Washington County. More information about the planning effort can be found on the County’s website.
