Project #6228
This project is a sanitary sewer rehabilitation project. The North Hillsboro Trunk Line is an 18-inch diameter line that is located on the City of Hillsboro's Emma Jones Natural Area where the City of North Plains discharges into this City of Hillsboro trunk line. Clean Water Services (District) is proposing to rehabilitate the pipe with a cured-in-place liner that can be installed without having to dig. District staff and the City's Parks Department will work together to remove invasive species and replant with native species in the project area.
Update February 2008
The North Hillsboro Trunk Line was successfully lined with a CIPP (cured in place pipe) in mid December, 2007. The following contractors all came together to make this project a success; Columbia Pumping & Construction, Inc., Godwin Pumps of America, Inc.; Pro Pipe Professional Pipe Services; C&M Construction; Emery & Sons Construction, Inc.; and Erosion Control Northwest.
The project site has been protected with wet weather measures and remains inactive. District will begin restoration and planting the Emma Jones Natural Area in mid March, 2008. During the late spring or early summer, District will once again attempt to reconstruct seven manholes in the vicinity of the Evergreen Estates along the route of the North Plains Discharge. District is negotiating with manhole rehabilitation contractors to complete this work.
