Clean Water Services is responsible for sanitary sewer service and storm and surface
water management throughout urban Washington County under the Oregon Revised Statutes
Chapter 451. These responsibilities include reviewing and issuing permits for erosion
control, construction, modification or connection to the public sanitary and surface
water management systems, and issuance of water quality sensitive area permits.
