Description: Woody vine with dark green leaves and dark purple fruit.

Where it grows: Found in disturbed areas of the forest

How it spreads: Spreads by ground and aerial roots. Non-native European starling feed on fruit.

What it threatens: Grows rapidly and smothers native vegetation. Adds weight to trees, increasing storm and wind damage.
