Protect our environment from alien invaders

Clean Water Services needs your help to preserve our natural areas by protecting them from alien, non-native plants and pesky critters. The District’s role in the watershed is to improve water quality and preserve aquatic species in a manner that meets the intent of both the Clean Water and Endangered Species Acts.

We have developed the following guidelines for non-native, invasive vegetation and animal management that should be used in conjunction with a thorough native revegetation program. See Design and Construction Standards (PDF, 22MB) Appendix E. 

Remember that clean water and a healthy environment are everyone's right and everyone's responsibility.
