Household hazardous waste

Many household products you use in your yard and home can hurt people, fish and wildlife if used or disposed of incorrectly.

You can bring your hazardous waste to Metro's permanent facilities year-round. Metro also schedules collection events called "roundups" in many communities across the tri-county area, March through November. Unlike the large-scale collection events that Metro held in past years, these events are smaller, scheduled more frequently and are more community-friendly.
