Canine campaign
In 2008, more than 200 dogs and their human companions took the Canines for Clean Water pledge, vowing to keep their watersheds clean by scooping the poop and throwing it in the trash. Now it's time to vote for your favorite canine candidate on our website. The top dog of 2008 will receive a $25 gift certificate for environmentally friendly pet items. The polls close Friday, April 17, so vote now! If you haven't pledged your pooch yet, register today to get your free dog bandana. Don't forget to send us a photo of your handsome hound to be eligible for next year's vote!
Over the river and through your 'hood
We are all connected by water and whether we live up or down stream, we all play a part in protecting this shared resource. Help draw attention to this issue by celebrating World Water Day, March 22.
This year's theme "Shared Water - Shared Opportunities" focuses on waters that run across borders and link us together. People around the world will celebrate the day to draw attention to the challenge of sharing clean water, a healthy environment and opportunities for economic growth.
