This program, designed for our service district residents, provides up to three hours of on-site technical assistance to help you create a sustainable stormwater landscape. Our expert will create a design that will increase your property value and enhance the livability of our Tualatin River Watershed.

Scout the mount

Looking for a local getaway this summer? Visit the new Cooper Mountain Nature Park opening June 27. The 230-acre park has 3.5 miles of gravel trails covering the parks unique landscape with views of the Chehalem Mountains and Tualatin Valley. Don't forget to look for Northern red-legged frogs, Western gray squirrels and native plants along the way. The park includes a demonstration garden, nature center and will host various workshops, camps and educational opportunities this summer.

River Rangers wrap-up

During the 2008-09 school year, nearly 4,000 students from 40 different schools in the Tualatin Basin learned about our watershed, pollution prevention, fish habitat and wastewater treatment. Even though school's out you can still learn about River Rangers and how to protect rivers and streams. Look for information on our website or visit us at community events like the Washington County Fair and the Tualatin Crawfish Festival.
